Could not ask for a better ski in and out the groomers come 12' from porch, there was two of us and the cabin was exactly what we hoped for this property would probably be great for 4 adults, no need to eat on the mountain just ski to back door for lunch, and you can access all of the slopes from this property. The Book Big Sky team were great at keeping us informed of directions and willing to assist in any way someone met us at the cabin within 15 minutes of our arrival to explain everything and offer any assistance, we will definitely be coming back.

We booked the cabin for the Run the Rut Sky running race, and it could not have been more perfect. The cabin was right on the course, which allowed us easy trail access to do course recon and also to view the races. The kitchen had all the amenities that we could need, the bed was comfortable, and the rental company was very communicative. It was a great experience and I would recommend to anyone staying at Big Sky, winter or summer.

Property: It was truly Cowboy Heaven! It began with the initial contact. Big Sky Vacation Rentals were patient and attentive in securing this cabin rental for us. The company stayed in contact with communications right up to the moment we arrived. We were greeted at the cabin by one of the representatives who then proceeded with an overview of the rental. Our accompanying friends who traveled with us to Big Sky became instant fans. And above all this property epitomized ski-in ski-out. Thank you for a truly great 3 days.

There is no ski in-ski out like this any where else. Five steps across the porch to click in and ski off. It was great to ski back to the cabin for soup at lunch, and ski away right after lunch. Private hot tub five steps from the door. The log cabin was comfy, warm, tight against the Montana wind.

Property: Unparalleled ski access and views- This home recently hosted our women's ski group of six friends. Kirsten and Mike and team were amazing to work with and the cabin was exactly what we had hoped it would be. We really had trouble getting off the porch -- but we did go skiing most days! We had a visit from a beautiful red fox the first evening (of course we did not feed him/her) and the sunrises were spectacular. Great place on a great mountain and Big Sky Vacation Rentals is certainly keeping it classy in Big Sky!

Our family of four stayed at the cabin. It was perfect for skiing and have a short family vacation. Everything was clean and in order. We only had Big Sky passes and would have been better to also have passes for Moonlight basin, you are basically between the two. Although now they are combined anyway, so should not be issue in future. We had a full size rental car and had no problems as they keep the roads fairly clear. Would have been nice to have 4x4 but not necessary. All in all. Nice accommodations.

Property: Location, Location, Location- This cabin has the most amazing ski-in/out location right on Powder River. If you end a bit early, you can sit in the hot tub, listen to music, and watch the skiers go by 10 feet away from you. The cabin also faces south so the sun streams in most of the day, which is nice in December. The view across to Andesite Mountain and Ramcharger is also spectacular. You actually look down at the New Year's fireworks. Inside, the beds and linens are new and everything is very clean. It's not luxury, but it creates the perfect log cabin feeling. Lastly, Kirsten King and her crew at Big Sky Vacation Rentals are an absolute pleasure to work with. They ensure that everything is clean and respond to any needs.

My family of four stayed at Cowboy Heaven Big Spur 7 for 8 nights and loved it. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Our views were breathtaking and the sunsets were amazing in all directions as the light reflected even in the Eaat! The beds were all comfortable and we enjoyed the hot tub. We had plenty of room for four of us and the decor was very cozy. We found this location ideal to explore Yellowstone and Teton National Park. I recommend paying the little extra to get the board games box as we found ourselves playing one almost nightly as a family. Also recommend the trip to the top of Lone Peak- we gazed at it often from our cabin, so it was extra special to get up there. Cabin was clean and the resort was very nice overall-highly recommend this cabin!!!

Property: Lovely, mountaintop cabin- Our family really enjoyed our week in Cabin 7. It is the only cabin on a dead end road, so it is very private. It is tastefully decorated, and well furnished. The only complaint is that the second bedroom Is designed for kids, which we did not realize, and we were 4 adults. One bedroom has a king bed, but the other has a bunk bed running horizontally across the head of a queen bed. All in all, the experience was great.

Cowboy Cabin 7 was a great location and setting for our weekend visit. It was very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and a pleasure to use as we had all our meals at the cabin. The outdoor grill worked perfectly. The hot tub was also appreciated by all.

If you truly want to experience a trip like no other then book CH Cabin 7 Cowboy. You can't beat the location and access to the ski runs. We will definitely be booking again in the near future. Thank you so much for giving us the most perfect Big Sky experience.

This cabin is not a makeshift rental but rather a comfortable, beautiful, awesome and perfect get-away cabin. Located right on the slopes with easy access to any needs, it is truly the most awesome ski-shack/house/cabin EVER. Loved it like it was my own and would recommend it to anyone who loves skiing, eating, sleeping, relaxing, playing...really doing anything! GREAT PLACE!

This was a family summer vacation to see Yellowstone, horseback riding and fly-fishing. Woke up and came back to beautiful views from our cabin everyday! Cabin was clean, comfortable and had essentially everything we needed to relax and eat-in when we chose to. Bunk bed set-up was perfect for our two boys (11 & 9) and my wife and I slept pretty well in the king bed. Although it took an extra 15 mins or so to get ourselves way up to where the cabin was located in Big Sky, it was worth it. Less than an hour to West Yellowstone, which we traveled to several days during our stay with ease. It turned out to be a very good base camp for us. In short, it was great for our family of four, and we would readily recommend staying there to any of our friends.

Wonderful, well-appointed cabin in a prime location right on the border between the two resorts. Ski-in, ski-out. Sit in the hot tub at the end of the day and wave at the last few people who ski past. Cabin is well-appointed with two large bedrooms and a pull-out couch. Full kitchen. Prime location and lots of charm!

Wow!! What a location!! We stayed at this property in April 2012 and had a great time. Can you say ski in/ski out? It really doesn't get any better than this. The property had everything we needed. Utensils, appliances, cookware, towels, shampoo, lotion. I'm sure the list could go on and on. Kirsten was great to deal with, she was very quick to answer all of our questions. I would definitely recommend it to others and we will definitely be back next year!!

Property Manager: Lisa was very informative and friendly. I do not have any complaints. Property: I would recommend CH7 absolutely! You can't beat the panoramic views. The cabin was comfortable and clean. The grill worked well and the Jacuzzi on the front porch was a treat. Lisa, the realtor, was very friendly and informative She had greeted us shortly after our arrival. We found plenty to do in the area with nearby hiking trails and spectacular waterfalls nearby. Overall,an A+..

Property Manager: We had a situation where the dryer was not working. Staff sent help and fixed it on the same day. Property: Highly recommend. This is my second time booking with bigsky vacation. All cabins are nice and cozy with a warmth feeling. It's a real cabin with the round woods, and not the dry wall kind. It makes you feel right at home.

First off, I am a complete germaphobe. No place other than home ever feels clean. This FELT clean, and was clean. Everything was as advertised, and their customer service was exemplary. We prepared most of our meals at the cabin, and had a local grocery deliver our groceries before we got there. All was as ordered and ready for us when we arrived. We had a great vacation, and this rental was a very big part of that. Thank you so much, Big Sky staff and owners!

Our family of five stayed at this property for six nights in February, 2013. The location and access to both Big Sky and Moonlight Basin skiing was unbeatable. Receiving over a foot of new snow while we visited made the location even more enjoyable. The house was very comfortable and in great condition. We ordered groceries in advance and had them delivered before arrival so the house was stocked with food for our entire trip. It was nice to have some family dinners in the cabin and the gas grill was useful. The hot tub was used every night. A great view of the mountains from the hot tub/front porch and we even got to see the President's Day fireworks at the base of Big Sky one night from the hot tub. I highly recommend this property and Kirsten, Kris and the rest of the management team was very helpful and available throughout the rental process. We would love to visit again.

Property: Excellent cabin with a one of a kind location. The cabin is located directly on a very nice ski run and a 30 second direct ski down the run takes you to the lift. Access to the rest of the mountain is easy from here as well. The cabin itself is well kept and looked fresh and well ordered. We were very happy there.

Ski in - Ski out was perfect! We left from the deck and were at the lifts as soon as they opened & could take a break for lunch or have a snack at the cabin during the day if needed - extremely excellent location! Sitting in the hot tub after skiing was the next best thing - and having the groomers come right up to the porch (while we were watching from the hot tub) was amazing - talk about first class service! Cabin was cozy and had everything we needed. Big Sky Vacation Rental staff was great and we will definitely plan another trip here!

Incredible ski in-ski out. Top cabin on the hill. Tremendous views! Steps to the snow - convenient for breaks and lunch. Sitting in the hot tub after a day of skiing was amazing! Perfect size for my family of 4 adults (wouldn't recommend for more than 4 adults). Big Sky Vacation rental staff was very professional and attentive. We couldn't have had a better stay. We will definitely be back!!

Our family of 4 (daughters age 9,12) was VERY happy at this property. It is at the top of the hill so it truly is a ski in and ski out (no hoofing it to the lift) The property managers were fantastic - met us at the door and left great instructions for using the property. Very well equipped for cooking our meals in. Gorgeous view - especially while sitting in the hot tub! This would be a fantastic property any season. Comfortable living room! We were able to ski both Big Sky and Moonlight from this location so take your pick. We didn't want to leave and will definitely try to book for next year!

Scenically stunning, cozy, luxurious and very well-appointed wood cabin . Hot tub and Weber grill adjacent to groomed ski run! Great for family of 4-5 or 2 couples (we are a family of 2 adults and 2 teenage children and everyone had ample space). Rental agency (Big Sky Vacation Rentals) was wonderful to work with. We look forward to staying in Cowboy Heaven again!

The cabin is perfect for families. Its very clean, well kept and has everything you need!! The kids would ski the run that goes past the cabin while we were getting soup and sandwiches ready, after a quick lunch five steps off the deck and we were all back on the slopes. There is easy access to two different lifts just down the hill, which let you explore miles of beautiful terrain!! Evenings were awesome sitting in the hot tub and enjoying the views. We will be back next year!!!

This cabin was perfect for my husband and I to rest and recharge. It would be great for a family of 4. Great hiking (Bee Hive and Lava Lake) and afternoons were spent just relaxing on the porch. We stayed in and made simple meals for dinner because it is about 9 miles to restaurants. It was beautiful in the summer and I can only imagine it would be awesome during ski season.

Property Manager : We arrived early and were allowed to check in to our cabin. The batteries on the lock needed replacing and a team member showed up quickly to replace them. We also had all of our questions promptly answered., Property : LOVED the cabin! It was cozy, well equipped, well maintained, and a perfect location. We walked right out the door to a hiking trail with beautiful views. Having a washer and dryer was nice. The hot tub was a delight as it snowed the first night and we hot tubbed as we watched the flakes fall. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals and there was even a few spices in the cabinet that we used. It was also nice having a private bathroom. We would love to return to this cabin during the ski season!

I travel every year to Big Sky for 2 weeks normally staying in a larger house in Diamond Hitch with family but have always wanted to stay in one of the cabins in Cowboy Heaven. I would have to say that #7 is probably the best of the bunch. Took a last minute trip for closing weekend and couldn't be more impressed. A+++ ski in ski out location just a short ski down to iron horse which makes it super easy to get to either Moonlight or main base area. Views from the deck are stunning and the brand new Hot Springs hot tub was amazing. Cabin is cozy and well equipped with excellent furnishings. Beds and linens were much better than most high end rentals. Had no issues with anything everything was very clean and in working order. Both of the showers are very nice walk in glass. Great spot for two couples or small families. Massive L shaped couch in the living room could easily sleep two very comfortably. Hoping to come back this summer and explore all of the great hiking and outdoor activities in the area and definitely will be back next winter.

Property: Great cabin, feels like 'home'- The cabins are in a great location for skiing both sides of Lone Peak (Big Sky and Moonlight). Very well furnished with quality items (dishware, furniture, etc). It may be a bit smaller than a 2 bed condo, but it's feels like home since you aren't in a larger building. A car is necessary if you want to go to either base areas or else its a lengthy walk. The cabin had an electronic keypad lock, so everyone in your group could enter w/o needing a key.

The cabin was amazing. The views were incredible. The location was perfect. We did an all day trail ride at Moon Light Basin which was amazing. We visited Yellow Stone and saw a lot of wildlife. The cabin was as described, very clean and the rental folks were very helpful. I would highly recommend the cabin!

The property was absolutely amazing!!!! The pictures definitely do not do it justice!!! A phenomenal view to relax. The beds were to die for. I slept like a baby(which I haven't done in months). We felt like it was completely heaven on earth. We are already discussing a return trip!!!! A true gem.

Cowboy Heaven Cabin 7 Cowboy
We had an excellent stay at this property. Ski directly off the porch and down to the lift for easy access to the rest of the mountain. Management was very responsive and great to deal with involving any questions we had during our stay. Would highly recommend staying here and will return.
