Property: Great Unit, Best Location- I've stayed in Moonlight Basin with my family yearly for the last six years. We've stayed in a variety of locations on the mountain and in a variety of units. This particular unit has several advantages. First, the location is prime. Bootlegger is right out the back door which gives you easy access to either madison base(Six Shooter) or the Moonlight Lodge (Iron Horse, and, hence Big Sky). Second, many of the Moonlight Mountain Homes have the loft space left open, but in this particular unit the loft has been converted to an honest bedroom. We slept in the loft bedroom this year and it was fine. Third, the electronics have been upgraded with new flat screens, in wall sound, apple tv, and good wifi. The house is perfect for two families and sleeps 8 easily. One of the bedrooms is a double, which would be cozy for 2. The masters have kings and the bunkroom could sleep 4 kids if they got along. Our mix of male and female teens needed their own space. The unit has beautiful views, a nice grill, good hot tub, and a boot dryer/warmer. The rental company that manages the unit is great. Rent with confidence- just not during my spring break, please!

Property Manager: The rental team was excellent! Any time we had an issue, the was resolved within that day! Our tea kettle had lost its top and the spout had melted - a new kettle was delivered that day. Our toaster had one side not working - a new toaster arrived that day. We requested a measuring cup and pitcher - those too arrived that day. We had two maintenance issues with toilets and those, too, were resolved promptly! Overall, we were impressed by the promptness and quality of service. The team was always gracious, friendly, and eager to help! This makes all the difference. You can have an excellent property, but if service isn't good, chances of return visits are low. In this case, we would recommend this home and Big Sky Rental Vacations to anyone and come back in the future! Property: This property is very nice and comfortable! We had a group of 12 people (6 adults and 6 kids). We cooked in most nights and skied back for lunch most days. The location is extremely convenient and the kitchen accommodated our needs just fine for the week. At times, it was blustery cold outside, but warm and cozy inside. Making a fire was a snap with the kindling and wood available. The WiFi accommodated multiple devices, the Sonos system was easy to connect with and use, and the Apple TV with Netflix was easy and convenient to use! Overall, all the time we spent in this house was excellent!

Our stay at the moonlight mountain home was incredible!! We are on our honeymoon and as soon as we stepped through the front door we knew we were going to have a special and memorable week in Big Sky. The house has incredible views of the mountains and the deck overlooks it all! We spent many evenings after hiking and fishing relaxing in the hot tub admiring the stars. The house is surrounded by awesome hikes and very close to the west gate of Yellowstone, making it a great base camp for all kinds of activities. We also enjoyed cooking in the gorgeous kitchen :) A beautiful, comfortable home in an incredible area. We can't wait to come back!

Everything was first class to say the least. This is an incredible home in an amazing location with a gorgeous view. BSVR does a great job of making this place feel like your home. And for skiing, you can't beat the convenience of ski in-ski out from this location. Great privacy but still less than 200yds to moonlight lodge where you can get lift tickets. This is truly an amazing place to stay. I can't wait to come back in the summer and see Big Sky in another season.

Property: This Cabin had everything a family would need. A fantastic view. This was a beautiful cabin we were there for 7 days and did not want to leave. It was my husband an I's 50th anniversary we wanted our family to join us. My son, his wife and 2 kids ages 18 and 12 and my daughter and her daughter age 12 it was perfect for us every bedroom had a bathroom. There is so much to do. They did the Zipline they loved it the people are very safety conscious we went horseback riding up in the mountain then they took pictures of us. To me that was my favorite the people and the horses were wonderful except for Yellowstone everything we wanted to do was right there in Big Sky. We definitely will be back.

Property: This mountain home provided the perfect backdrop for a first-ever girls' trip for myself and 4 friends. We had a blast! The house was wonderfully equipped and beautifully decorated. We thoroughly enjoyed being in the mountains in the 'off-season', and several of us are considering a return trip during the winter for skiing. We had a terrific balance in terms of quiet, restful, relaxation time, and physical activity--sightseeing, shopping and incredibly good dining--all within a short distance of the cabin. The staff of Big Sky Rentals was extremely helpful before AND during our trip we couldn't have been happier with them. It was a fantastic vacation--no one wanted to leave. We would all consider coming back again! Absolutely a stellar place to stay! 5 stars!

Property Manager: The staff met us at the house and went over all of the key points of the house which made the transition seemless. Property: The house at Shadow Ridge was perfect for our group. We had 4 couples (8 people) with us this week. Everyone had their own room. The house was very clean and accommodating with great views. Property Manager: The big Sky vacation rental team was great to work with all my questions were promptly answered. Property: Shadow ridge 7 was an absolute dream home. Beautiful views, ski in and out, and close to the moonlight lodge. The house had all the amenities you could think of and more. The large deck with hot tub was perfect and used daily by our large group. We had four families a few with Littles and it fit us all perfectly. Never felt like we were tripping over each other. We are already planning a return trip as everyone had so much fun.

We just returned from 5 wonderful nights at The Mountain Home and couldn't be more pleased with our home away from home for our group of 7 adults. We agree with all previous reviewers...well kept, single car garage, great views, proximity to Moonlight Lodge. The ski out is as easy as it gets while the ski-in requires a few steps up from the access trail. We were able to hang our skis on the rack just outside the back door while the boot dryer just inside did it's job. The hot tub was a great place to relax at the end of each day on the slopes. The grill and kitchen, which also includes a beverage/wine frig, are as advertised. Kirsten and her team are first class and we look forward to working with them again soon.

Property Manager: Property management staff was extremely attentive, thorough, and helpful. When we arrived, the staff was actually waiting for us with our lift tickets in hand. How nice is that? They gave a very thorough intro to property and amenities. Property: Property was very well maintained, very well appointed, and had extremely convenient access to ski slopes. I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone interested in a wonderful ski vacation.

Big Sky Vacation Rentals did not disappoint. I worked with Kristen and Mike - owners and Patrice. Very helpful and knowledgeable about Big Sky. The Mountain Home was exactly as the pictures looked. Mike came to the home soon after we arrived and answered all of our questions. The views were amazing. I don't doubt if we had any issues that would take care of it immediately. As for the location, I enjoyed being in Cowboy Heaven just a bit away from it all but only a 15 minute ride off of the mountain to highway 191. We packed in river rafting ( only really class 2 this time of year - a bit disappointing but still fun) zip lining, 2 hikes - Ousel Falls (not hard) and Beehive Basin 3 hour hike absolutely spectacular and very close to the home and we went on a 3 hour horseback ride through Jake's Horses and jumped off the bridge into the Gallatin River. So many other hikes we wanted to do and we didn't fly fish or head into Yellowstone.

Shadow Ridge is a comfortable mountain retreat that has all of the amenities you could ask for in a ski house -- great entertainment system, 4 comfortable bedrooms each with it's own bath, a well equipped kitchen, hot tub, ski-in/ski-out and awesome views of the surrounding peaks. It's furnished in a casual and comfortable style that is very fitting in a mountain home. We felt totally relaxed as soon as we unpacked and had a great time. Big Ski skiing is some of the best in the west and the lift lines are non-existent. The house made it easy for us to enjoy great family meals and had enough space for us to have some privacy when we wanted it. The boot dryer is also a bonus you'll get to like. Big Sky Vacation Rentals were superb hosts. Their staff is very friendly and every request was met with a smile. They did a great job of introducing us to the area, including all the good places to eat, and the house is very well cared for. One of our favorite ski vacations ever!

Property Manager: The company was very understanding and accommodated a change of plans due to the pandemic. Property: The unit is very well situated. The only minor issue is that skiing back to the condo does require a hike up the hill to the condo. Overall, the condo was terrific.

Property Manager: The staff is always amazing and so responsive. We asked for more wood on a Sunday and small amount was delivered right away and on Monday it was filled to the sky! Property: The property was great! It felt very comfortable and homey with great views. All of the Big Sky vacation rentals we have stayed in are always so well equipped with everything we need, especially the kitchen.

Property Manager: After we reached the property a BSVR representative arrived and discussed some of the features of the place and answered all of our questions. She was very helpful. Big Sky Vacation Rentals made it very easy to book the property and get access to the house through the electronic deadbolt system. The directions on how to get to the house and all of the amenities were very clear and helpful. Property: This is a really great house for several couples to rent. It is in a good location with access to lifts. Getting from the house to the ski in/ski out trail can be a little difficult. You have to leave the back door of the house and go down about 10 feet to the ski trail but there are no stairs or easy way to get down. When we were there it was about 4 feet deep of loose snow and it made it exhausting to get down from the property to the trail and back up in ski boots and gear.
